TGWP Episode 061: Jess and Jef- Two Moose Design

While cruising Instagram one day, I ran across a guy knocking out some killer raised dog bowls. I started looking through his feed and realized he was only half of the team. Not only were they doing awesome work, they are busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest. I followed a link to their Etsy store and was blown away by the numbers they were putting out. At the time of this writing they have almost 2k sales and the store has been favorited over 1200 times. What’s really crazy is the views they get. Coming in at just under 40K a month. That’s insane for me to fathom. As an Etsy seller myself, I definitely took note and wanted to know what they know. So I started stalking their every move so I could see what they were doing and how they were doing it. I finally decided I saw enough and asked them to be on the podcast. That’s where this episode, number 061 comes in. Jess and Jef out of Clintonville, Wisconsin, are a newly married couple that decided to go all in on a business and it’s paying off. Their friends thought they were crazy, but Jess and Jef haven’t looked back. They are currently building a new workshop since they outgrew the space thy’re in almost immediately. All this in just over a year.

Listen in today as Jess and Jef give us insight in to what it takes to make a successful young business work and grow. You won’t be disappointed.

Be sure to head over to Instagram and Facebook and give these guys a follow. Also check out their Etsy store and grab a cool, handmade product today.

Mentioned in today’s episode: John Malecki, Jimmy DiResta, BuiltBy_N8

  1. I had to give this one more listen as I’m setting cabinets and now running crown molding. I like how they were talking about Etsy and how it work I would love to know more about it’s workings.

      1. Thanks!!! I’ve been thinking about starting a Etsy shop but have really just not talked to anyone who kills it on there.
