TGWP Episode 078: Anne Of All Trades

I’m the kind of guy that likes to remind myself of certain people with a single word. It gives me a connection to them in a special way. When I think of my favorite fiction writer, Brad Meltzer, I think “clever”. When I think of past leaders in our history like Abraham Lincoln, I think “gruff”. When I think of this weeks guest for episode 078, Anne of All Trades, I think “fascinating”! Why you ask? I’ll they you why. Anne is one of the most multi-talented people I’ve ever seen or had the pleasure of chatting with.

Her skill set is mostly self taught. She’s read more books on subjects of interest than anyone I know. And not only can she whittle wood, turn a bowl, build a chair, forge hot metal, tend a garden, and care for a pretty packed small farm. She also makes one heck of a video and she can teach all of it in the blink of an eye. Maybe my one word should have been “Super Women”! Okay, that’s two words but I just can’t fit one word to her skills and talents!

On top of all the skills Anne has acquired over the years, she’s an incredibly nice person. She shares her passions with the entire world as a full time content creator and teacher. I look forward to the day I have the honor of attending one of her classes no matter the medium.

  1. I too have a few Learning disabilities as well. I would be so interested in how Ann has overcame or dealt with him over the years and how helps her creativity. Also how much making has pushed her and train her mind to focus and stay on task. For me my hobbies and interest have helping me not only when I’m at work but in my home life as well. I love seeing and hearing someone that is overcoming this the best anyone can!
